Service Description

use only for cabling projects under $1.5 million
request two or more quotes (encouraged) from contractors for projects under $250,000
request three or more quotes (required) from contractors for projects $250,000 or more
additional discounts based on order quantity and other competitive factors may be available
check the contractor's invoice against the price list — don't pay more than the contract price
some contracts are for inside cabling projects only (Category A) ,
while other contracts are for outside or inside cabling projects (Category B)
contracts have been awarded for different regions of the state
Scope of Work information for the Electronic Technician (06 license) and Telecommunications Technician Labor Categories

Please be aware that the cabling master contracts contain conditional Public Works provisions and Purchasers may be required by law to declare work performed under these contracts as a “Public Work.” As such, please review the contract terms and potential responsibilities with respect to Public Works.
