Service Description

Dedicated Exchange Services delivers the right combination of customization, technology, and support for large agencies connected to the State Government Network (SGN). Dedicated Exchange Services offer secure messaging with Microsoft Exchange email and calendar services.

Dedicated Exchange Services frees your agency IT staff from mail server support tasks, enabling them to focus more attention on projects that are critical to your agency’s core business. Features:
  • System design, administration and operation
  • Migration planning
  • Acquisition, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of email server infrastructure
  • Capacity planning
  • Performance monitoring
  • Tuning and load balancing
  • Backup and on-site recovery operations
  • Trouble shooting and problem resolution
  • Inclusion in the DIS Premier Support contract with Microsoft

To obtain services from DIS, eligible organizations must enter into a Customer Service Agreement (CSA).

How Do We Charge?


Monthly service charges for Dedicated Exchange Services, Shared Exchange Services, and Shared-Dedicated Exchange Services are based on a mutually negotiated Service Level Agreement (SLA) in order to meet the customer’s business needs.
