Service Description
DIS offers many tools for telephone conferencing. Conference attendees can simply dial the conference bridge number, enter the assigned user code, and be instantly connected to the conference. The teleconferencing system supports conference calls of up to 240 participants.

Features:
  • The “Meet Me” conference call is scheduled through the State Operator, and can be held 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SCAN charges are incurred by each participant; the conference fee is paid by the organizer.
  • The “Operator Assisted” conference is set-up and established by the State Operator. Service is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. SCAN charges and conference fee are paid by the organizer.
  • The “Mix” conference is a combination of the previous two audio conferences. Service is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The conference fee is paid by the organizer.

Customer Responsibilities:
To obtain services from DIS, eligible organizations must enter into a Customer Service Agreement (CSA).

What to do if your Conference needs additional Ports:
When you hear the announcement: “This conference has reached its maximum capacity, please contact the meeting organizer for additional information”, please let the recording start 3 times, and enter the # sign 3 times. This allows the DIS Conference Operator to answer the bridge and manually place you into the call.

How Do We Charge?

"Meet Me" conference call Conference Fee paid by conference organizer SCAN charges are incurred by each participant; the conference fee is paid by the organizer.

"Operator Assisted" conference Conference Fee paid by conference organizer SCAN charges and conference fee are paid by the organizer.

"Mix" conference Conference Fee paid by conference organizer For Operator Assisted calls to participants, the SCAN charges are paid by the conference organizer. For participants who call into the conference bridge by their own action, SCAN charges are paid by the participant.

All conference calls incur a conference fee of $0.09 per minute, per scheduled participant. This conference fee is paid by the conference organizer.
