Service Description

The DIS Conferencing Service powered by WebEx enables real-time, world-wide meetings over the Internet without leaving the office. The WebEx suite of communication services includes interactive video conferencing, web collaboration, and audio conferencing – via either telephone or Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Online meetings through WebEx can be used to demonstrate products and services, share presentations, conduct online training sessions, collaborate on documents, and fulfill all meeting needs for every area of your business. The service allows up to six video images to be displayed simultaneously, with many more people participating in the meeting. Agencies with multiple host accounts can simultaneously conduct multiple conferences.

  • Conference recording is available to customers who specifically request it on the application form and agree to the Supplemental Terms of Use
  • Multiple options for audio conferencing including a toll service (conference participants share in the cost of the audio service), a toll-free service, integrated Voice over IP (VoIP) conferencing, or the user’s own local phone services
  • Choice of monthly host subscriptions or pay-per-use
  • Pay-per-use is great for smaller groups and monthly unlimited can handle up to 200 participants

How Do We Charge?


Web Collaboration and Video:

Monthly Web Collaboration and Video Account:
Provides unlimited usage with up to 200 participants per conference. This option is recommended if you plan to schedule even two or three small conferences a month on a regular basis.
Meeting times cannot overlap. Monthly host accounts cannot be assigned to workgroup names or address distribution lists. The host account must be assigned to a specific individual for their use.
(Audio service is billed separately per minute, per user, using the rates listed under audio alternatives, below.)

Rate per month, per host account, user self-scheduled: $55.00 per month


Audio:

Any of the following audio alternatives may be used in conjunction with the web collaboration and video options.

Alternative 1, Audio:
User Self-Scheduled, Toll Free (800 services):
Host pays per minute, per participant charges

$0.08 per participant, per minute


Alternative 2, Audio:
User Self-Scheduled Toll Service (San Francisco based Voice Bridge)
Each participant pays their own long distance charges.

Host pays per minute, per participant charges

$0.04 per participant, per minute

Alternative 3, Audio:
Voice over IP (VoIP) :
Host pays per minute, per participant charges

$0.03 per participant, per minute




Other Alternatives:

 
Operator assisted, web collaboration and/or video:
(Available only with the per minute alternative)

$0.20 per minute, per user user


Operator assisted, Toll Free (800 services):
(Available only with the per minute alternative)

$0.11 per minute, per user user


Per minute web collaboration and/or video:
Recommended for users with infrequent requirements for web collaboration services. These accounts do not require any monthly recurring charges. (Audio service is billed separately per minute, per user, using the rates listed under audio alternatives above.)
