Network Attached Storage (NAS)




Service Description

Network Attached Storage (NAS) provides data storage via a centralized network. For instance, NAS is convenient for agencies that need groups within their organization to share access to certain files. Files of any type can be shared over a network with NAS.

Customer Responsibilities:


New Customers:

To obtain services from DIS, eligible organizations must enter into a Customer Service Agreement (CSA).

Government entities are invited to complete an Application for Network Attached Storage  and  submit to the DIS Service Desk – servicedesk@dis.wa.gov..

Current Customers:

We can respond faster if your customer information is up-to-date. Complete the Contact Update Form and submit to the DIS Service Desk – servicedesk@dis.wa.gov.

How Do We Charge?


The NAS service provides data storage for files via the network using EMC’s Celerra, and enterprise class NAS system, backed by the EMC Symmetrix storage array.
Description Fee
Network Attached Storage Rate is based on a custom Service Level Agreement (SLA) in order to meet customer’s business needs
