Information analysis is the key to good decision-making. Through the SAS
licensing program, DIS offers government agencies business intelligence tools
to sort through the vast amounts of detailed information your agency generates
each day. These software tools empower you to use this information to evaluate
your processes and measure past and present performance so you can improve your
service delivery.
You'll save money by licensing SAS Desktop software through the DIS group

Ordering information and requirements
Before a customer may acquire a SAS Desktop license from DIS, two agreements
need to exist between DIS and the customer:
A Customer
Service Agreement (CSA) is the first step for customers as they prepare
to do business with DIS. DIS provides information and technology services for
Washington state agencies, local governments, Indian tribes, qualifying
nonprofit corporations and Federal agencies. To see if your organization has a
CSA in place please search the
CSA database.
A DIS Service Level Agreement (SLA) needs to be completed. Contact
Toni Backstrom via e-mail or call 360-902-3469 to see if a SLA
agreement is in place for your group.
