Satellite Broadcasting
DIS now offers both digital and analog broadcasting services. Professionally
trained staff help you plan and present your training, information or message,
airing live from our TV studios in Lacey or remotely from the location of your
choice. Audience size and location are not an obstacle. The public can tune in
from home on cable TV channels, on the Internet, or at downlink sites
nationwide and participate by calling in, toll-free, with opinions and
questions to be addressed live on the air.
DIS Interactive producers provide hands-on, one-on-one service so you are
ensured a high-quality program. Whether you are trying to organize staff
meetings, press conferences, legislative reviews, project roll-outs, training
sessions, agency-wide communications, public hearings or any event that
includes large numbers of people in diverse locations, DIS can provide a

Downlink Coordination
DIS offers a very unique service in Downlink Site Coordination. If there is a
Satellite Broadcast that you, your staff, or agency would like to participate
in, our experienced staff can help you find satellite viewing sites that will
suit your needs.
Washington has an extensive satellite downlink infrastructure with hundreds of
viewing sites to choose from. From big cities to rural, remote regions,
we will locate a site to meet your needs. In addition to Washington sites,
there are literally hundreds of locations throughout the nation. Downlink
viewing rooms come in a variety of sizes and locations; and can seat anywhere
from 15 to 400 people. In addition, if you want on-site viewing at your office,
DIS can arrange for a portable satellite system to be temporarily installed at
the location of your choice. Whatever your needs are, we will help you to
receive your broadcast at as few, or as many, sites as you like — it's up to
you.
DIS will also record and duplicate your broadcast on a number of different
formats, including VHS tapes.
