Enterprise Security Infrastructure
Service Description
The DIS Enterprise Security Infrastructure protects the Washington State computer network from cyber threats like hackers and viruses. All agencies on the State Government Network (SGN) and the Intergovernmental Network (IGN) can rely on a safe network environment. The Enterprise Security Infrastructure is a strong defense against malicious and increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
Customer Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Security Infrastructure is an included service for all agencies connected to the State Government Network (SGN) and Intergovernmental Network (IGN).
How Do We Charge?
The Enterprise Security Infrastructure is an allocation fee to agencies. The formula for this fee was constructed in coordination with the impacted agencies to recoup costs that are expensed to DIS for infrastructure that provides benefit to the entire state enterprise. This allocation is a monthly fee based upon two components: a base rate for agencies with more than 50 FTE’s and a fee per FTE.
